Hi, I'm Tim Breeze. A traditionally trained designer based in Hereford with a focus on front-end development.

Currently I am self-employed, working through my own business, Dash&Dot, where I focus my efforts on front-end design & development, branding, & marketing for businesses both locally & nationally.

Beyond this I also provide freelance design services for various agencies & companies such as leading infographic design agency Designbysoap.

In my time as a designer I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of clients including the likes of Sony, The Bank of England, Nissan, & the DWP. My experience working with these global brands has enabled me to provide a high tier of service to my clients, & to maintain an excellent eye for detail.

I'm currently available for new projects from August 2018 onwards, looking for opportunities to make design work for small businesses.

I’m highly skilled in a wide range of applications across the entire Adobe suite including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, & Premiere. I have a good deal of experience working with more modern, web focused design applications such as Sketch, Figma, Invision, & Zeplin.

I have excellent knowledge of front-end development including HTML5 & CSS3. Beyond that I’m comfortable writing jQuery, JavaScript (ES6), & PHP.

I enhance my development process with the use of various modern development technologies such as Gulp, Webpack, NPM, & Vagrant, among many others.

The majority of my projects end up running on the WordPress CMS. I work with a modified version of the Sage theme, utilizing it’s alternative approach to WordPress architecture to create fast-loading, accessible websites that scale.

I'm constantly looking to improve my design & development skills with every project, to provide better user-experiences, & more engaging websites.

I'm 25 years old with a keen interest in web development, user-experience, technology, cooking, & gardening. I spend most of my days working from a home office with my dog Tilly & puppy Bessie.

Oliver from information design agency TDL got in touch with me to help expand the aging TDL-London website as a part of the company's expansion into the West Midlands.

The design of the website was completed in conjunction with Oliver & his team in London. Working remotely with regular reviews we were able to produce a unique website design that all of Oliver's team had invested in.

The development of this unique design led me to explore various new & exciting web technologies that would enable TDL to stand out among the competition. The result was a beautiful, responsive, animated website that evokes the information design at the heart of the agency.

After the completion of the website I have continued to work with TDL to consult & advise with on-going SEO efforts to ensure there is a healthy ROI from the project.

Liz at Rural Concierge contacted me to develop a website that would better represent her growing tourism business.

During the project I was able to not only produce an engaging, mobile-friendly website but to also expand upon her original branding & provide brand assets for various formats.

The culmination of this extended branding & overhauled website meant that Liz could take her business from strength to strength, going on to win various national awards in her sector & quickly expand what was once a one person show.

"With my new website, I am much more confident about promoting my brand. Tim really listened & created the easiest ways for the website to work for both me & my customers. It’s easy to navigate, good to look at & encourages people to book online & be confident in doing so."

Kay's Kreations

Branding, Design, Development, SEO

Kay was referred to me by another client, & as a relatively new small business was on an extremely tight budget. She needed branding, print material, & most importantly an e-commerce website to grow her handmade gift business.

Working with Kay over a period of time I slowly rolled out the project to meet her budgetary requirements. First the branding, then the print material, & finally the website. During this period, Kay was able to utilise social media to a strong brand following.

When the website finally launched, the brand had a strong enough following that sales came through thick & fast. Within the first month the website hit 16k page views with a bounce rate of 22%, & in turn ended up paying for itself.
